Off Grid Resort Solar Systems

Resorts are paying too much for their Power Generation and the introduction is a much more environmentally Friendly Solution.
Generally most remote facilities including resorts rely heavily on traditional Gas or diesel power generation for their electrical needs. New technology now allows for the integration of Solar Power (PV) into the generation network, as much as 75% can be achieved on traditional generation units (DG).

Each facility needs a very extensive review of the power load demand and the periods when the highest load scheduling takes place, once this has been compiled a system can be designed and an estimation can be made.
The consideration in most cases is the available serviceable roof space or land adjacent to the facility, in most cases the available roof space is the best option given most of the electrical infrastructure is in place, the use of available land is an option but may need added works and is best situated as close to the existing DG system all ready in place, the size of the system will be determined by both of these options and the energy demand of the facility.

A Load demand profile will take up to 2 weeks with metering equipment installed on the main lines and areas of high demand, once the profile has been obtained the size of the solar system needed to replace the demand can be designed, the break down of this profile into areas of high use allows a system to be broken up and installed close to the area of demand in most cases this means available roof space on or adjacent to the energy draw.

Call and arrange a site visit and load demand profile.
